LONDON, 15 January 2026: SprintFlint v1.1 brings AI directly into your development workflow with Autoplay, MCP integration, and intelligent ticket management.
Two weeks after launch, we're releasing the AI features we've been building. These aren't gimmicks bolted on for marketing. They're genuine productivity tools that change how you work with tickets.
Autoplay: Press a Button, Ship the Ticket
Autoplay connects your SprintFlint tickets to your codebase. Press one button and a team of specialised AI agents analyses your ticket, writes code, runs tests, and opens a pull request.
It works with any GitHub repository. The agents understand your existing codebase, follow your patterns, and write code that fits your style. You review the PR like any other code change.
Autoplay isn't meant to replace developers. It's meant to handle the tickets you don't want to do: the straightforward changes, the boilerplate, the repetitive work. You focus on the interesting problems.
MCP Server: Your AI Assistant Knows Your Tickets
SprintFlint now includes a full MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Connect it to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant and your tickets become part of the conversation.
Ask "what should I work on next?" and your assistant sees your sprint. Say "create a ticket for the bug we just discussed" and it happens without leaving your IDE. Check sprint velocity, update ticket status, add comments — all through natural conversation.
Available tools include:
- my-issues: See tickets assigned to you
- get-issue: Get full ticket details
- list-projects / list-sprints / list-issues: Browse your workspace
- create-issue / update-issue: Manage tickets
- create-comment: Add context to tickets
The MCP server uses your existing API key. Set it up once and your AI assistant stays in sync with your sprint.
Linear Import
Already using Linear? Import your projects, sprints, and tickets directly. Connect your Linear account, select what to import, and migrate in minutes. Your ticket history comes with you.
Combined with our existing Notion import and text-based import, you can migrate from almost anywhere.
What This Means
We built SprintFlint to be simple ticketing that helps you ship on time. With v1.1, AI becomes part of that. Not replacing humans, but handling the boring bits so you can focus on what matters.
Autoplay and MCP integration are available on all paid plans. The free plan continues to include full velocity analytics and GitHub integration.
